P.S.: If Spitzer steps down, his Lieutenant Governor, David Paterson, is also a Clinton supporter. But he's already a superdelegate, as a D.N.C. member -- so there's a net loss for Hillary.
Update: Over one-million California votes were yet to be counted when the media estimates were first made. Those estimates had Hillary at 207 delegates to Obama's 163. The new projection: Hillary 203, Obama 167, this count is not expected to change when the election is officially certified this Saturday.
