Obama's Pledged Delegate Count

√ CNN’s results also project that Obama has won at least 11 delegates out of Kentucky. He needs 1626.5 to have more than 50 percent of all pledged delegates nationwide. He began the day with 1,612.5 pledged delegates. Add 11 to that and he now has 1,623.5 (so he needs just three more out of Kentucky tonight with 19 still up for grabs).


√ NBC political editor and numbers cruncher extraordinaire Chuck Todd projects 18 delegates for Obama out of Kentucky and suggests that once Oregon’s results roll in that Obama will have a majority of pledged delegates even if Michigan and Florida were to be included:
