Clinton fundraiser and former DNC chair Steve Grossman, a participant in that meeting, told CNN, "I'm pretty optimistic based on those signs that even though people want this thing to end fairly and with respect, people need to know that there are unity efforts going on all over the country."
"We need to win a mandate," Grossman continued. "We need to win more seats in the House, more seats in the Senate.
