McCain Calls Out Clintion

McCain is trying to stir the pot on the eve of the Democratic Convention. His new ad "Passed Over" (see below) is shrewd, but risky. He is taking advantage of disaffected Hillary Clinton supporters and Hillary's and Bills' lack enthusiasm towards an Obama Presidency. I think this ad puts the political responsibility squarely on the Clinton's shoulder's and obligates them grow up and show stronger support for Obama. The Clinton's have been spitting in the wind for a while now and their friend John McCain just hit them squarely between the eyes.
What McCain does not understand is that he just illustrated that Obama does not need the Clinton's, while reinforcing the Clinton’s underlining need for rehabilitation. Their rehabilitation will come at a high cost for the Clinton's. Its hard for them to take responsibility for their own failings and tell the truth about their role in the primary.

Let see how politically savvy the Clinton's are. Fire up your TiVo it’s going to be a history-making week.

Update: Hillary's team responds–—

Clinton’s team immediately dubbed the ad misleading. "Hillary Clinton's support of Barack Obama is pretty clear,” said Clinton spokeswoman Kathleen Strand. “She has said repeatedly that Barack Obama and she share a commitment to changing the direction of the country, getting us out of Iraq, and expanding access to health care. John McCain doesn't. It's interesting how those remarks didn't make it into his ad."
