The Field's call To Action: Remove Fournier: Draft a Letter to an APME Member

Let the Associated Press Managing Editors Association governing board members know its time to take immediate action to remove Ron Fournier as AP Washington bureau chief.

Here are the three reasons why Al wants you should get involved:

1. Fournier's email to Karl Rove revealing his partisan bias ("I'm on your side") requires his removal as AP Washington bureau chief.

2. Fournier's negotiations to become a "senior advisor" to the McCain campaign require his removal.

3. Fournier's September 20 report on an AP-commissioned public opinion poll that, distorting the results of that poll, inflamed race relations in the United States, absolutely requires his removal.
