The Early Vote In North Carolina

The early vote in North Carolina may provide a clue about the direction of sentiment. Nearly 390,000 Democrats voted early:

Based on the state maintained early voter database, of the Democratic ballots, 40.6 were cast by Black voters and 57.3% by whites.

Obama's always had a better early voting program than Clinton, and these percentages are bound to change somewhat. Still, lots of black voters voting early is a good sign for Obama.
